There was a raise to 7,400 in late position which Gabe Costner called in the cutoff. The big blind shoved for 53,600 and the original raiser folded, but Costner made the call and they were on their backs.

Christopher Kolla is up to 165,000 after knocking out a shortie who shoved for around 25,000 under the gun. Kolla made the cal with 
and was well ahead of the all-in player's 
. The board ran out a harmless 
and the unfortunate shortie became an unfortunate bustee.
There was a short delay in restarting owing to "technical difficulties." We're not sure what that's about, but we suspect it was a minor glitch with payouts. Cards are back in the air now. 140 players remain, and whether this stays a three day event or runs to four remains to be seen.

Here's an interesting one.
The short-stacked player in mid position shoved, and it folded around to the big blind. The dealer thought the hand was over and pulled the all-in player's hand into the muck. At this point it became apparent that the big blind still had live cards, and the floor was called over. The all-in player's hand was retrieved from the muck, but he said that only one of the cards he got back had been his - he said he'd had 
offsuit. The floor retrieved another card that was near the top of the muck but that wasn't his either.
In the end it was ruled that the player who had gone all in could fold the two random cards he'd been given, but would have to give up 2,400 as a blind. That's a lot when you have just 13,000 behind. Nevertheless, that's what happened, and the hapless player was left even shorter than before.
A player open-shoved from early position. Cherie Beasley reshoved on the button. The early position player, who was in seat one flipped over threes and almost mucked his cards. They were pretty much in the muck in fact, but his hand was still on them. The table stopped him making a mistake, and Beasley tabled .
The board rolled out 
giving Beasley a flush and sending her opponent to the pay out desk.
"I should have mucked them," her opponent said walking away.
Thien Nguyen raised from the button and was reraised to 16,000 by Cherie Beasley in the small blind. Nguyen then reraised to 60,000, sending Beasley into the tank. After quite some thought, Beasley folded her cards. Nguyen showed . Beasley told the table she had ace-ten suited.
Nguyen is at 300,000 now.
