Rheem Calls Down Opponent

Facing a raise on the button to 1,100, David "Chino" Rheem made the call from the small blind to see a {4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{Q-Spades} flop fall.

Rheem check-called 2,100 to see the {7-Diamonds} land on the turn and a bet of 2,400 follow from his opponent. Again Rheem made the call to see a second queen - the {Q-Hearts} - land on the river and a bet of 7,100 confront him.

"What you got homie?" asked Rheem before quickly cutting down the amount to call when he received no answer.

Being shown his opponent's {8-Spades}{7-Spades}, Rheem tabled his {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} to rake in the pot and move to 68,000 in chips.

Pose For the Frame

Tim "Tmay420" West was just busted by Pat Pezzin, but instead of storming off our pouting like some players he was very pleasant about it.

The first thing he did was have his friend Jimmy Collopy come from another table to take a picture of him with Borris Becker, and then he stopped by our table to wish us a good day.

Well good day to you too sir!

Cupcake Update

Andy Bloch has struggled to down six of his twenty four cupcakes, but Howard Lederer extended the bet. Bloch now has until he busts in Event #6 to finish his delectable pastries.

To the readers, these cupcakes aren't your typical birthday treats with a pinch of frosting. These daddies are massive and are decked out with elegant toppings like Oreos and other giant additives.

With the extension and a ninety-minute dinner break, the task may be doable for Mr. Bloch.

Bonomo Doubles, Raymer Crippled, Then Triples, Then Eliminated

With around 6,500 in the middle and a board of {7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts} spread Greg Raymer fired out 5,000 only to have Justin Bonomo move all in for his last 16,575.

After some deliberation, Raymer made the call tabling his {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} to be in bad shape against Bonomo's {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}.

The {Q-Diamonds} and {9-Spades} on the turn and river would gift Bonomo the double through to over 37,000 while leaving Raymer crippled on just 975.

The next hand Raymer found himself all in and called in two spots to find a triple when his {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} found a queen against an opponent's {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

An orbit or two later Raymer would commit his final 3,325 with Greg Mueller making the call.

Raymer held {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Mueller showed {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}.

The board ran out {6-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{A-Hearts} to see Raymer eliminated.

Morrison Takes One From Furst

Rafe Furst entered the pot from the cutoff with a raise to 1,000 and Kirk Morrison defended his small blind to see a {J-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop fall.

Morrison check-called 2,000 before check-calling 3,000 when the {2-Hearts} landed on the turn. Both players checked down the {5-Hearts} on the river with Morrison tabling his {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds} to scoop the pot and see him return to just over 16,000 in chips.

Three Way All-In

When we arrived at Table 1, three players, Mohsin Charania, Cary Katz and a short-stacked man were all-in preflop. The hands looked like this:

Charania: {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Katz: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Mr. Short Stack: {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

The board ran {10-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and Katz chipped up to 27,000 chips. Charania was left with 19,000 chips and Mr. Short Stack became Mr. No Stack.

Seiver Goes Broke

When we arrived at Table 4, Neil Channing and Scott Seiver were having some fun, needling one another with the board reading {K-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

"Going to bust you here," Seiver told Channing.

"Possibly," Channing shot back.

The turn brought the {2-Spades} and Seiver thought a moment before open shoving.

"Yeah I call," Channing said quickly tabling {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} for middle set.

"Really?" Seiver said as he showed {K-Hearts}{4-Spades} for two-pair.

The river was not a king, rather it was the {9-Spades} and Seiver was eliminated from the tournament.

"Good luck," Seiver offered before walking away.

After the knockout Channing now sits with 38,500 chips.

In a three-bet pot with around 7,000 in the middle, the dealer spread a {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs} flop with both Eric Froehlich and Daniel Negreanu checking the action to see the {K-Clubs} fall on the turn.

Froehlich fired out 5,000 and Negreanu moved his last 27,325 into the middle with Froehlich immediately making the call.

Negreanu: {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Froehlich: {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

Fortunately for Negreanu the river landed the {9-Clubs} to see the Team PokerStars Canada Pro double through to 63,000 as Froehlich slips to just 4,300 in chips.
