Andrew Cohen Eliminated in 20th Place ($16,275)

Andrew Cohen- 20th
Andrew Cohen- 20th

Daniel Wjuniski was all in with {7-}{8-} on a flop of {4-}{5-}{8-} against Andrew Cohen's {Q-}{Q-}. Cohen was in great shape until an {8-} hit on the turn. The river blanked and Wjuniski took down a pot worth 900,000 pot.

The next hand, Cohen pushed all in with {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and was called by David Aue's {A-}{5-}. Cohen couldn't improve and he was eliminated in 20th place from the tournament. The former bracelet winner will take home $16,275 for his efforts.

Hellmuth Freerolling

Phil Hellmuth was under the gun and raised to 45,000. Vineet Pahuja pushed all in for 104,000 total and Hellmuth made the call.

Hellmuth: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Pahuja: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

It was looking like a chopped pot when the flop and turn came {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Suddenly Hellmuth was freerolling for a club flush. Unfortunately for him, the river was the {9-Diamonds} and the two chopped the pot.

"This guys playing every hand. I coulda bad beat him," Hellmuth explained.

Ronald Eberhard Eliminated in 25th Place ($16,275)

Vener Takes First Blood
Vener Takes First Blood

After action folded to Scott Vener on the button, he raised to 32,000 and the small blind folded. Ronald Eberhard, who was in the big blind, reraised to 70,000.

Vener asked how much Eberhard had behind, which turned out to be 180,000, before making the call. The flop came {6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{A-Hearts} and Vener checked. Eberhard went to bet all in but did so in a string bet manner.

"It's alright," Vener said, "I'm all in." Eberhard called and turned over {5-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} but was behind Vener's {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Eberhard was looking for help but both the turn and river blanked.

Eberhard became the first player to be eliminated on Day 3.
