Another Donkament On The Cards!

Welcome back to the Rio for Event 8: $1,500 No Limit Holdem of the 2010 World Series of Poker.

It has been just under a week, and already this is the third no limit holdem event of the series with another stellar field looking to take to the felt to see who can be crowned the seventh bracelet winner of the series.

We are unsure of exactly the expected number of players that will make up this donkament – as players like to refer to these $1,500 events as – but without doubt only some of the best will be able to sift their way through the 3,000-plus field to have a real crack at the coveted gold bracelet and title of Champion.

Annette Obrestad, Daniel Negreanu, Greg Raymer and Humburto Brenes are just a few that have been spotted circling round the room, and all are expected not only to have a deep run in this event but also over the whole series.

Make sure to stay locked onto PokerNews for all the action of Event 8 as we provided all the live updates from the floor of the Rio and the 2010 World Series of Poker.
