After ten hours of play and over two thousand eliminations, the final hand of the night has been dealt in Event #8: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em.

2,341 players took to the felt nearly thirteen hours ago in the third low buy-in no limit hold'em event of the series. Just as expected a field mixed with amateurs, veterans, professionals and those wanting to get their tournament fix all handed over $1,500 to create a $3,160,350 prizepool.

Humberto Brenes, Boris Becker, Lex Veldhuis, Joseph Cada, Brandon Cantu, Liv Boeree, Annette Obrestad, Allen Cunningham, Tom Dwan, John Juanda, Erick Lindgren, Erik Seidel and the recent Poker Players Champion Michael Mizrachi were just a handful of notables to take the felt but fall to the rail over the course of play.

Jean-Robert Bellande (89,200), Phil Hellmuth (84,700), Danny Wong (77,600) and Amnon Filippi (55,800) lead the respected notables remaining, but it is Josh Schlein leading the remaining 277 players with 127,300 in chips. Hugo Perez (109,300), Tim Milliron (106,900), Sam Trickett (102,800) and Scott Vener (101,000) are yapping on his heels.

With 243 players making the money tomorrow, it is still anyone's tournament to win. However it will be the $568,974 first prize, coveted gold bracelet and title of Event 8 Champion being the goal for everyone that remains.
