Haveson Crippled, Then Eliminated

Brian Haveson
Brian Haveson

The floor was called to Table 375 where it was discovered that the button had been moved one too many spots. However, there has been a couple folds and Brian Haveson had raised to 10,000. The floor ruled that there had been too much action and the hand would play out.

Action folded around to Bobby Shasta in the small blind who pushed all in for 57,400. Haveson made the call and turned over {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}. Shasta held the {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and was in trouble when the flop came {A-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}.

Shasta needed one of the two remaining tens in the deck to stay alive. The {10-Diamonds} hit on the turn and Haveson was visibly stunned. The {9-Spades} on the river gave Shasta the double up.

When the chips were counted out, Haveson was left with only 400 chips, enough for a single ante. The old adage of a chip and a chair didn't hold true for Haveson as he was eliminated a few hands later.
