Toestesen Plays It Safe

Alexander Kostritsyn raised it up to 150,000 and Jakob Toestesen made the call on the button. Gabe Costner called along from the small blind and the three took a flop of {6-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

All three players checked and the turn brought the {2-Diamonds}. Costner checked and Kostritsyn took a stab worth 275,000. Toestesen called as did Costner, as the {6-Clubs} completed the board on the river. All three players checked it down.

Costner opened {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and Kostritsyn's cards hit the muck, but Toestesen showed {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} for a monster - a flopped full house! Toestesen saw something on the board that scared him as he kept the pot small to chip up to 5.9 million. Costner is down to 8 million with Kostritsyn at 5.2 million.
