Another all in just took place, but not another elimination. From the button, Claudio Falcaro raised to 30,000. Adam Falk then pushed all in for his remaining 66,000. Falcaro made the call and Falk's was well ahead of Falcaro's .
Much to Falk's dismay, the flop came to put Falcaro into a dominating lead. The on the turn gave Falk some chop outs and the on the river did indeed give both players the same ace-high straight.
Falk is still short stacked and will need some help to stay afloat.
After quite a few all ins and double ups, we've finally had our first casualty of the final table.
From middle position Edward Marcus raised to 45,000. Chip leader Jason Baker re-raised to 100,000 from the big blind and Marcus shoved all in for around 250,000. Baker took no time at all in calling and it was easy to see why once the cards were face up.
Baker:
Marcus:
There was no help for Marcus on the board of and he was eliminated in 9th place. He will take home $6,165 in prize money.
Jason Baker now sits at a very comfortable 1,015,000 in chips.
Joseph Zeman's only move during this final table thus far has been moving all in, as he has been nursing the short stack. Zeman moved in once again from the cutoff for 43,000 and this time was called by Daniel Quach from the small blind. Quach flipped over but was behind Zeman's . The flop came , putting Zeman way out in the lead. The turned rendering the that fell on the river irrelevant. This hand brought Zeman up to 105,000 and knocked Quach down to 175,000.
Christopher Perez limped under the gun, play folded around to Adam Falk on the button who raised to 65,000. The blinds both folded and Perez then shoved all in for a total of 124,000. Falk made the call and the hands were tabled.
Perez:
Falk:
Falk would need some help to knock Perez out, but the board ran out . Perez's aces helped him double his stack to around 272,000 while Falk is now down to 67,000.
Daniel Quach opened from middle position for 25,000. Richard Kozlowski responded to that action by re-raising the rest of his stack. Quach called and we were off to the races:
Quach:
Kozlowski:
The board proceeded to fall and Kozlowski doubled up to 360,000.
Claudio Falcaro is definitely making his presence known at this final table. He raised all in pre-flop and was once again called by chip leader Jason Baker.
Falcaro:
Baker:
The board ran out allowing Falcaro to double up yet again and increase his stack to around 305,000.
