Tens for Klein

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Geffrey Klein limped on the button and Eddie Blumenthal checked in the big blind to see the flop come down {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Blumenthal bet 50,000 and Klein called to see the {4-Spades} land on the turn. Both players checked and the river was the {8-Spades}. Both checked again.

Klein tabled the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Blumenthal announced, "You got it," before mucking his hand.

Klein Comes Back

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Geffrey Klein has just pegged one pot back from Eddie Blumenthal as the action continues in this WSOP Event #10 heads-up battle.

Blumenthal made it 90,000 to go from the button and Klein called before both players checked down the flop and turn of {J-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Klein checked again on the river of the {9-Clubs}, but this time Blumenthal led out for 125,000. Klein called, showing down {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for the straight.

And with that, we've had a dealer change: "There goes Brannon, here comes Shannon!"

Sick Call From Blumenthal

Since his double-up, Geffrey Klein has turned up the aggression, but he's had to slow down after a great play by Eddie Blumenthal.

Blumenthal raised from the button preflop to 90,000 and Klein called before both players checked the flop of {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Klein then opened for 125,000 on the turn of the {5-Clubs}; Blumenthal called, so it was down to the river of the {a-Spades}.

This time, Klein bet out 225,000. Blumenthal thought about it long and hard, but eventually made the call, showing down {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Klein mucked, and boom goes the dynamite.

Don't Worry, Klein's Just Fine!

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Geffrey Klein has found his opportunity to first double through Eddie Blumenthal, moving up to more than 1.3 million in chips within the first few hands of this heads-up battle for the tenth WSOP bracelet.

After a few blinds and antes were traded, Klein open-shoved from the button for 685,000 with {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and Blumenthal snap-called with {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. The flop came down {Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and once again, Blumenthal's buddies started cheering on the rail, but they were quickly silenced when the {A-Diamonds} spiked on the turn.

The {7-Diamonds} bricked out on the river and we've still got a game on our hands!
