Jason Mercier
Jason Mercier

Jason Mercier opened the pot from the button, and Josh Arieh three-bet from the small blind. Mercier flatted, and the flop brought {2-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} for the two men. Mercier called a bet there, and he raised all in on the {3-Clubs} turn. Arieh quickly matched the shove bet, and the cards were turned up.

Showdown
Mercier: {4-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}
Arieh: {A-Spades} {A-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {10-Hearts}

Arieh's aces were no good to Mercier's full house, but his wheel did have him in the lead for the low half of the pot and he was drawing to the last ace in the deck for a scoop. However, the river fell a blank. No money changes hands, and it's onto the next hand-for-hand hand. Mercier is still quite short with 56,000 chips.
