Sarah Grant chatted up Bill Chen at a break. Check it out.
Anders Meli opened for 17,000 and David Diaz called. Amritaksha Basu moved all in behind them for 46,500. Both Diaz and Meli called. They went to the flop three-handed and it came .
Meli checked, Diaz bet 65,000 and Melli went over the top and moved all in. Diaz called and another large sidepot was made. The hands were tabled:
Diaz:
Meli:
Basu:
Meli was ahead with a flopped set and Diaz need help to catch up. The flop and river came and Meli collected both pots and is up to 788,000.
So said Denis Gnidash, who was seated at the table when two big stacks clashed.
Nicholas Rampone raised to 16,000 from the cutoff and Andrea Dato reraised from the button to 35,000. When it folded back to Rampone he made it four bets sliding out 80,500 chips. Not to be out done, Dato five bet to 135,000 before the raising finally stopped with Rampone's call.
The flop came and while that seems like an action board, both players slowed down and checked. The turn was the and after some thought, Rampone bet 172,000 and Dato began to tank. Already a couple of minutes into the break, Dato finally let it go. They have already made promises to each other to reveal their hands when this tournament concludes and we definitely hope to be around when that conversation takes place.
The action folded to Andrea Dato in the small blind who made it 19,000. In the big blind, Sam Trickett announced that he was all in and was snap-called by Dato.
Dato:
Trickett:
The board fell and Andrea Dato scooped a huge pot that brought him up to roughly 740,000 in chips.
The field is down to 16 players and they have redrawn for the final two tables.

Bradley McFarland raised under the gun to 18,000, the cutoff flatted and David Diaz three bet from the button to 50,000. McFarland decided to four bet to 100,000, the player in the cutoff folded and Diaz moved all in. McFarland called with less, somewhere around 300,000 chips, and the hands were turned up.
McFarland:
Diaz:
McFarland was in a world of hurt and the flop left him drawing to runner-runner. The turn sealed the deal and McFarland will have to settle with 17th.
Mats Gavatin was eliminated in unknown action. The field has redrawn and down to two tables.
Steve Watts and Tyson Marks had built quite a large pot by the river. The board read and Watts moved in for his 172,000 stack. Marks mulled the action for a short while and then announced call. Watts slammed down his for a straight. Marks reluctantly let the dealer slide his chips over to Watts.
Brandon Poe was eliminated in unknown action.
They're dropping like flies right now and we may be able to play down to a final table tonight.
