Johnson Gives His Chips to Trigg

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Richard Trigg, Chip Leader
Richard Trigg, Chip Leader

From the cutoff, Christopher Johnson raised and was three bet by Richard Trigg in the blinds. After some thought, Johnson decided to four bet to 25,000. After only a few seconds, Trigg announced he was all in and Johnson snap-called.

Trigg: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Johnson: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

Johnson was putting his near 100,000 chip stack at risk against the chip leader but was unfortunately a dog in the hand. The flop came {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades} which was no help to Johnson. The {8-Spades} gave Johnson additional outs in the form of an open ended straight draw, but Trigg dodged the nine-outer on the river when the {4-Spades} landed.

Trigg is now up to a 370,000.
