Burke Doubles Through McCarrel

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Action folded to Casey McCarrel in the cutoff who raised, and Ron Burke was the only caller in the big blind. The flop came {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Burke check-raised after McCarrel bet. McCarrel called, and the players saw the {3-Diamonds} on the turn. Burke bet, and then McCarrel put Burke in, though he didn't look too happy doing it. Burke called and showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a flopped two pair, and McCarrel showed {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. McCarrel needed a queen on the river to chop, but it didn't come, as the river was the {8-Hearts}. Burke doubled up 160,000, while McCarrel dropped to 120,000.
