Koss Rides the Rollercoaster

Robert Koss: caught in the middle
Robert Koss: caught in the middle

In one of the biggest hands of the tournament so far, Jordan Young has scored an unlikely triple-up to stay alive at this final table!

The action folded to Young who open-shoved for 50,000 from the cutoff before Robert Koss reraised to 275,000 from the button. Philippe Vert then four-bet jammed from the small blind, making it 1,085,000 to and Stanley Tavanese folded his big blind before Koss double-fist-pump-snap-called.

Vert: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}
Koss: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Young: {K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Young's supporters went bananas when the dealer spread the flop of {K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}, which improved to a full house when the {7-Clubs} appeared on the turn and held after the {9-Spades} bricked out on the river.

After the chips were cut down and sorted out, Koss was left with just 610,000, which went into the middle in the very next hand with {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Casey Kelton called with {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}, but the board was spread {9-Spades}{K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{K-Clubs} to give Koss two pair and the double-up.
