Kirchner KO's Troubat

With the pot built up to more than 90,000, we picked up the action between Isaac Kirchner and Nicholas Troubat on a board of {6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{A-Spades}{9-Spades}; Kirchner checked to Troubat who led out for 45,000 after the river.

That bet sent Kirchner into the tank for a good four minutes before he announced a check-raise all-in. Troubat insta-called, but tried to muck after Kirchner revealed {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a flopped set. As Troubat was the aggressor, he was required to show his cards, which turned out to be {a-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}.

After the chips were cut down, it was revealed that Kirchner had Troubat covered by just 4,000 in chips!

White's All Right

The action folded around to a player in middle position who raised to 16,000; Thomas White then came in with a reraise of 34,000 from the button and the others got out of the way before the middle position player four-bet it to 84,000. White snap-shoved and the middle position player beat him into the pot.

Opponent: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}
White: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

To White's relief, he managed to hit quads on the board of {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts} to double up and stay alive in this tournament.
