Ellis Moving Up with Grace

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Jordan Young was under the gun and opened for 5,100, Ronald Stubing called directly behind him and Helen Ellis called from late position as well. The flop hit {7-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {7-Diamonds}, Young slid out 7,600, Stubing raised to 18,000, Ellis called the 18,000 and Young folded very reluctantly.

The turn brought the {A-Spades} and was checked by Stubing and Ellis. The river came {3-Diamonds} and Stubing checked to Ellis. She roughly counted and commented that their stacks were about the same. Ellis then moved all in and Stubing let his hand go. Ellis is up to 114,000.
