We caught up with the action on fifth street where it was checked to Michael Binger who bet. Both of his opponents called and it was checked to Binger again on sixth who bet once more. Opponent 2 check-raised and both other players called. On seventh, Opponent 2 bet and the other two called. Opponent 2 showed a flush that he caught on seventh while the other two players mucked and Binger voiced his displeasure about his opponent’s catch.
Erik Seidel completed showing the before Erick Lindgren made it three bets with his king, Seidel called then raised on fourth street. Lindgren called and also called the double bet on fifth when Seidel made an open pair of fives. However when Seidel made jacks up on sixth, he bet and Lindgren gave up the hand.
Seidel moved back up to 18,000 while Lindgren dropped to 22,000
We caught up with the action on fourth where Barry Greenstein, who was getting a massage from Cyndy Violette, bet and his opponent called. On fifth, his opponent who was first to act bet and Greenstein raised. The player made the call and check-called Greenstein’s bets on sixth and seventh. The player showed a straight but was outdone by Greenstein’s flush.
On fourth street, Bill Munley made the call after his opponent bet. With Munley first to act on fifth, he check-raised his opponent who called. Munley bet on sixth and his opponent called while they both checked seventh. The opponent announced “I have aces up, oh no I don’t” as the dealer said that he held sevens and fives. Munley flashed his ace and said “I had the aces” before he mucked.
Grospellier: / /
Richey: / FOLDED
Other Player: / /
Joining the action on third street and a player showing an open pair of eights fired out with Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and Brett Richey both calling. On fifth street the same player fired again but this time Grospellier raised and Richey folded, Grospellier fired again on sixth and seventh and was check-called both times.
"Queens," said Richey, predicting what "ElkY" would turn over after the betting on seventh and the Frenchman indeed then turned over rolled up Queens before showing the for a rivered full house. His opponent sighed and mucked
We recently ventured over to David Bach’s table only to see him quite shortstacked. Chris Amaral then pointed out that himself, Cyndy Violette, Tom Dwan and Michael Mizrachi had a $100 bounty bet going on for whoever eliminated Bach. We asked Phil Laak how come he wasn’t a part of the bet and Amaral said “we offered him 105 to 100 but he wouldn’t take it” and Laak said “I would do it for 120”.
Anyways a few hands later, the following hand occurred where Mizrachi would have a chance to get the bounties.
Bach: /
Mizrachi: / /
Sabic: /
Bach brought in and Mizrachi completed. Sebastien Sabic then raised and Bach moved all in. Mizrachi raised and Sabic just called. On fourth, Sabic check-called Mizrachi’s bet and on fifth check-raised him. Mizrachi came back with a re-raise which Sabic called. On sixth Sabic bet, Mizrachi raised, Sabic three-bet and Mizrachi called. Seventh was a little tamer with a Sabic bet and a Mizrachi call. Bach showed two pair which was beaten by Mizrachi’s rolled up 6s but Sabic had them both beat with a full house. While the hand eliminated Bach, unfortunately no one was able to capitalize on the bounty.
