The Master Makes His Exit

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Another player and Men "The Master" Nguyen got all the chips in the middle preflop with Nguyen way ahead.

Nguyen: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The flop of {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} gave the other player a bit of hope and while the {2-Spades} on the turn changed nothing, a dramatic {q-Diamonds} fell on the river giving the other player the win. After their chips were counted, Nguyen was left with a mere 2,800.

Shortly thereafter, Nguyen and another player both pushed all in, and Scott Lipshutz, who had both players covered, called.

Nguyen: {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Other All-In Player: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Lipshutz: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and both Nguyen and the other all-in player were sent to the rail while Lipshutz stack grew to 90,000.
