Table 121 No More, Beware Table 124

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

We just told you about the stacked table that was Table 121; however, that table was recently broke to help fill empty seats around the room. That means there is a new tough table in town, and it's Table 124.

Seat 1: Todd Brunson
Seat 2: Chau Giang
Seat 3: Robert Mizrachi
Seat 4: John Hennigan
Seat 5: Jason Mercier
Seat 6: Vladimir Shchemelev
Seat 7: Tom "durrrr" Dwan
Seat 8: Scott Seiver

Looking Like 152

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

With the surge of late entrants, the tournament clock states that the field stands at 152 players. We're waiting on the official numbers, which will come with prizepool and payout information, and we'll be sure to share it with you just as soon as it become available.

Them the Breaks of Late Registration

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Late registration is a great option for many players, especially those who don't wish to endure the early levels of a limit tournament; however, waiting does have its drawbacks. One is that you'll more than likely be seated with other late registrants, who tend to be among poker's elite. This was never more true than Table 121, which is home to the following players:

Seat 1- Johnny Chan
Seat 2- Eli Elezra
Seat 4- Alessio Isaia
Seat 5- Erik Seidel
Seat 6- Hoyt Corkins
Seat 7- Jason Mercier

Level: 5

Limits: 500/1,000

Break Time

Level 4 : 400/800, 0 ante

Players are now on a 30-minute break, which will come the closest to a dinner break that we'll see. When we return, late registration will be closed, so expect to see a few last-minute players join the field.

Kings-A-Plenty

Nick Schulman raised from the cutoff only to have Dan Heimiller three-bet from the button. The blinds cleared out and Schulman made the call before checking the {K-Spades}{7-Clubs}{A-Clubs} flop. Heimiller bet, Schulman check-raised, and it was Heimiller's turn to call.

Schulman immediately led out on the {4-Clubs} turn, Heimiller raised, Schulman three-bet, and Heimiller called. Schulman then bet in the dark before the {10-Clubs} hit the river. Heimiller made the call but insta-mucked when Schulman turned over {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts} for a flopped set.

Debora’s Ladies

Level 4 : 400/800, 0 ante

We caught up with the three-way action on a {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop and missed all of the betting but saw Bill Chen lead out from the small blind. A raise came the cutoff and Greg Debora joined from the button while Chen folded. On both the {10-Diamonds} turn and {3-Clubs} river, the cutoff checked-called Debora’s bets. Debora showed {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for trips which was good as his opponent mucked.
