Humberto Brenes had Dale Kunkel all in on a

board. They flipped their cards and Kunkel had

for top set and the nut low draw. Brenes was ahead though with

for the nut straight and same low draw. The
river didn’t pair the board meaning Brenes would win three-quarters of the pot and boost his already massive stack to 168,000. Afterwards, he said “Humberto only plays the nuts”.
Troy Palmer has been eliminated by Brian Swinford, the latter turning over

which fit nicely with the

board for a seven-high straight and a five-three low. Palmer couldn't beat this and promptly hit the rail.
We came in to the hand when Allen Cunningham bet 8,000 on the turn with a board of

only to be raised by Francesco "Cheech" Barbaro in early position. Cunningham made the call and both saw the river of
Cunningham checked but Barbaro bet out 8,000 and Cunningham called.
Barbaro showed

for trip jacks, and Cunningham felted only the
as he thought for a while about whether his hand held any clout. After about 30 seconds of looking and thinking, he decided not and mucked. He was left with about 25,000 which is pretty short at this point in the tournament.
Julie (wife of former POY Tom) Schneider and Daniel Ratigan are the latest to head out to the payout desks.

Francesco Barbaro looks to be the new chip leader with over 200,000. He just added even more to his stack betting 8,000 on the turn of a

board against Guillaume Rivet before both checked the
river. Barbaro turned over

for nines and fives and Rivet could only muck. The French-Canadian former chip leader is down to about 63,000 now.

Erik Seidel check-called a 4,000 bet on a flop of

against Michael Simon before both checked the
turn. Seidel then fired out on the river
for 8,000 and Simon called.
Seidel:

for aces and nines, seven kicker and deuce-five low.
Simon:

for aces and nines, jack kicker and no qualifying low.
