Opponent: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Opponent: {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Two Pair is Good

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Carlos Mortensen raised to 250 from under the gun and was called by the player next to act. The flop came {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Mortensen bet 400. The other player raised to 1,850 and Mortensen called. The turn brought the {q-Hearts} and Mortensen check-called his opponent's all-in bet of 800.

Mortensen: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Mortensen's pair of tens and gutshot straight draw was trailing to the other player's aces. Unfortunately for the other player the river brought the {4-Hearts} giving Mortensen two pair and the win.

Mortensen now has 6,000 in addition to his two add-on chips.

Kelly Crunched

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

We found three players committing 300 preflop - two of which were JP Kelly and Stephen Chidwick - to see a {J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop fall.

Kelly tossed in a bet of 900 to force one opponent out before Chidwick check-jammed from the small blind. Kelly called off his last few thousand as the cards were tabled.

Kelly: {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Chidwick: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

With Kelly holding a semi-wrap against Chidwick's semi-wrap too, the {10-Diamonds} on the turn gave Chidwick the lead with the nuts, but left Kelly drawing dead to just a full house.

Unfortunately for Kelly, the river landed the {A-Diamonds} to send him to the rail as Chidwick climbs to over the 13,000-chip mark.

Laak Tripped Up

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

With a raise to 275 from the cutoff, Phil Laak made the call from the button, as did the small blind.

The flop of {Q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts} saw Laak fire out a pot bet of 925 which was called by just the small blind as both players checked the {2-Spades} on the turn.

The river of the {Q-Hearts} also saw both players check as the small blind tabled his winning {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for trips. Laak mucked, while also slipping to 4,125 having already used his add-on chips.

Affleck Loses with a Set

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

After a flop of {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Diamonds} Matt Affleck checked to his opponent who bet 550. Affleck then raised the pot and the other player went all in. Affleck called and their hands were revealed.

Opponent: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}
Affleck: {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Affleck's set of jacks was trailing the other player's set of aces. The {6-Clubs} on the turn gave Affleck some flush outs, but the {2-Hearts} on the river was of no help and his stack dipped to 2,900 with one add-on chip behind.

Bertrand Grospellier

Catching the action on the flop of {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, we found Bertrand Grospellier giving an all in player action with his {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

Leading against his opponent's {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, the turn and river landed the {2-Spades} and {6-Diamonds} to send his opponent to the rail as Grospellier climbs to 18,000 in chips.

Elezra Gets the Best Hand to Fold

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

With three players still in the hand and the board reading {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Spades}{3-Hearts} Eli Elezra tossed out a bet of 1,625. One of the players called while the other folded.

Elezra showed {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} for a pair of jacks and although not the strongest hand, it was better than what the other player held and Elezra won the pot.

The player that folded admitted that he had folded the best hand. Elezra's stack was at 12,350 after the hand.
