Kabrhel Has A Lot of Chips Early Again

Yesterday in Event #28 $1,500 no limit hold'em, Martin Kabrhel made day two and started it with a rush of cards and chips. At one point with over 250 people left he had double second places chips. While he still managed a middle-cash, he was not able to hold on. Kabrhel again has a slightly less impressive stack, but a large one none the less.

We found him betting out 750 on a board of {4-Spades}{9-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{K-Spades} into his opponent with almost 3,000 already in the pot. His opponent tanked for a while before eventually making the call.

Kabrhel nonchalantly flipped over {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades} for a jack high flush and his opponent mucked. We shall see if Kabrhel can manage another deep run with a nice stack early.

Brikis Doubles

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

The pot was about 3,000 heading to the {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop. It was heads up between a player in the cutoff and Josh Brikis on the button. It was checked to Brikis and he bet 1,500 of his 6,000 chips. His opponent thought for about a minute before raising enough to Brikis all in. Brikis instantly slid his chips forward and the hands were turned up.

Brikis: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Opponent: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Brikis was a huge favorite to double up. He just had to avoid the two remaining Tens and a back-door straight. The turn was the {5-Hearts} taking away the straight options and giving both players a meaningless heart draw. The river bricked again with the {3-Diamonds} and Brikis now has 15,000.

Duhamel's Betting Does the Talking

After a handful of players limped Jonathan Duhamel made it 650 chips to anyone who wanted to see a flop. He only managed to get one caller. Both players got to see a {6-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop where again Duhamel took charge and bet 650 chips. He was reluctantly called.

On the {9-Diamonds} turn Duhamel bet out 1300 and his opponent folded.
