Rettenmaier Puts Berda On the Clock

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

We found this hand at the river and Martin Rettenmaier had a bet of 20,800 in front him. The board read {2-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} and the pot was already 20,000 without Rettenmaier's river bet. Tomer Berda was deep in the tank. Calling would represent at least a third of his stack.

Around three or four minutes passed without Berda making a decision. Rettenmaier called for a clock on Berda. The floorman arrived, put him on the clock and with 30 seconds left Berda mucked his hand.
