Rheem Hits the Rail

Level 3

PLO

Chino Rheem was short stacked and got his last 1,125 in holding the {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} against another players {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts} and the other player's rivered pair of tens was enough to take the pot and eliminate Rheem from the tournament.

Potter Bests Baker

PLO

With the board reading {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and 1,750 in the pot already, James Potter put out a bet of 850 and David "Bakes" Baker called.

The river brought the {j-Hearts} and Potter bet out 2,875. Baker decided to call and Potter very quickly tabled his {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for jacks full of kings. Baker mucked his hand and was left with 2,500 in chips while Potter's stack grew to 14,000.

Bell Loses One

Level 3

PLO

After a flop of {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Chris Bell bet 800 from the cutoff and the player on the button raised to 2,600. The player in the big blind folded and Bell raised enough to put the button all in. The button decided to call and their hands were revealed.

Bell: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Button: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Both players held draws but the button was ahead with ace high and a better flush draw. The turn of the {a-Clubs} gave the button a pair of aces and the river brought the {3-Hearts} allowing the button to double up.

Bell's stack dipped to 12,800 after the hand.

Affleck Tries to Stab

Level 3

PLO

Preflop the pot was limped three times, including Matt Affleck on the button, before the small blind completed and the big blind checked his option.

The dealer rolled out {6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and the player second to act bet out 300. The first limper called, as did Affleck. The other two players folded and we saw the turn three-handed.

The dealer placed the {5-Spades} on the board next and this time all three players opted to check. The river was the {8-Diamonds} and once again Affleck faced two checks in front of him. He fired 1,100 into the pot which was good enough to take the first player out of the hand. The last player, however, made the call and Affleck had only {k-}{10-}{10-}{4-}. His opponent had {a-}{j-}{9-}{9-} for a set of Nines and Affleck is back to just under starting stack.

Brenes With Some More

Level 3

PLH

From under the gun, Humberto Brenes raised to 350 before the player in the cutoff three-bet him to 800. Action folded back around and Brenes made the call.

The two players saw the {4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop and Brenes checked. His opponent thought for a few moments and decided to bet 750. Brenes quickly called and the turn was the {2-Clubs}. That sequence repeated itself, except this time for a bet worth 1,525. The river was the {4-Hearts} which put two pair on the board and Brenes checked for a third time. His opponent checked behind this time and Brenes tabled {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. His opponent mucked and Brenes stacks chips worth 18,300
