Timex Stalls

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Michael "Timex" McDonald has just lost a race that would have earned him a spot in the top ten leaderboard.

After a raising war preflop, McDonald gave action to his opponent's 40,700-chip all in. McDonald was int he lead holding {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} against the {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} of his opponent, but when the board ran out {J-Clubs}{K-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}, McDonald was forced to push a couple of stacks across the table while slipping to roughly 50,000 in chips.

Kim Takes One

From middle position, Brian Kim raised to 4,400. The cutoff seat and big blind both called to see the {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} flop. Action checked to Kim and he fired a continuation bet of 6,600. Both his opponents folded and Kim scooped the pot.

Sands Triples

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Shortly after Dave Sands lost most of his stack with {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} to John Dolan's {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} when four spades hit the board, Sands found himself all in for 11,200 with {A-Spades}{K-Spades} against two opponents.

Fortunately for Sands, they checked down a board of {A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades} and could not beat his top pair top kicker. Though he is still short, Sands has a little bit of life with about 35,000.

Ramdin Straightened Out

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

With the board spread {5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{6-Spades} and the pot sitting at roughly 40,000, Christian Harder pushed out a bet of 20,500.

His lone opponent in the hand - Victor Ramdin - thought for some time before making the call only to muck at the sight of Harder's {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

As Ramdin slips to 65,000, Harder climbs up to roughly 130,000 in chips.

Kings For Lee

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Bernard Lee filled us in on a hand that took place just before the dinner break.

On the button, he raised to 5,700 with pocket kings. The player in the big blind re-raised all in with about 35,000 behind and Lee snap called, thrilled to see his opponent table {K-}{3-}. The board ran out {Q-}{J-}{6-}{10-}{2-}, safe for Lee to increase his stack to 189,000.

Ho's Stack Takes a Hit

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

We caught up with the action on a flop that read {J-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}. The player in the big blind checked, as did an early position player. Maria Ho fired a 7,500 bet, which landed a fold from the big blind. However, the early position player check-raised to 10,000 more to 17,500. Ho fell hard into the tank, but landed on a call after much deliberation.

The turn came the {7-Clubs} and Ho's opponent immediately slid out a stack worth 20,000. Ho went through the motions, but eventually folded her hand.

Ho's stack has slid to 87,000.
