Matt Vengrin Eliminated in 6th Place ($98,567)

Level 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Matt Vengrin - 6th place
Matt Vengrin - 6th place

Matt Vengrin had slipped down close to the 250,000-chip mark when he open-raised all in from the cutoff, then Wesley Pantling called from the button. The blinds both got out, and the players tabled their cards:

Vengrin {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Pantling {A-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

The flop came {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs}, further strengthening Pantling's lead in the hand. The turn brought the {4-Clubs}, however, and some flush outs for Vengrin. But the river was the {8-Spades}, and Vengrin leaves the main stage in sixth place.

Pantling picks up still more chips, moving up around 1.85 million.
