One Rail Exits, Another Gets Louder

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Although Jacob Naquin and his rail have left the Thunder-Dome, it seems as though the Brazilians that are supporting Andre Akkari have increased their volume.

As their chants echo around the stage, it is just a matter of time to see if they can get any louder.

Jacob Naquin Eliminated in 4th Place ($213,520)

Jacob Naquin - 4th Place

Jacob Naquin opened the action by moving all in from the button for his final 1,200,000. Andre Akkari made the call from the big blind and hands were turned up:

Akkari: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Naquin: {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and Naquin was in need of an ace or running straight or flush cards. The turn brought the {3-Clubs} and made Naquin in need of an ace and an ace alone. The river brought the {7-Spades} sending Naquin to the rail and causing Akkari's rail to erupt with cheers of support and happiness.

Jacob Naquin will take home $213,520 for his efforts.

Raise. Three-Bet. Fold.

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Jacob Naquin opened his button to 135,000 only to have Matthew Carmody three-bet to 400,000 from the small blind.

Naquin asked for a count on Carmody's stack, and after he had been informed of an approximate count he returned to deliberation.

Eventually Naquin decided to kick his cards to the muck to see the pot pushed to Carmody.

Subtitles Please?

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

It seems as though the two-handed verbal war may have a third party to it as the Brazilian rail occasionally spurts into a Brazilian chant.

On the most recent execution of said chant, a player on the opposing side of the Thunder-Dome screamed, "Subtitles!"

We at PokerNews think it wouldn't be such a bad idea as we would like to know what is making Andre Akkari chuckle every time his rail bellows out a chant.

Akkari Out-Kicked

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Andre Akkari made it 125,000 to go from the button and was called by Jacob Naquin. The flop fell {J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and both players decided to see a fourth card for free. The turn came {10-Hearts} causing Naquin to check and Akkari to bet out 175,000. Naquin made the call and they both saw the {2-Hearts} on the river.

Naquin checked once again and Akkari bet out 300,000 and Naquin quickly made the call.

Akkari flipped up {J-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for a pair of jacks, but was distraught to find Naquin show {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades} for a higher kicker.
