Hall Doubles Through Heger

Action folded around to Adam Heger in the small blind who raised to 40,000. Zachary Hall responded by moving all in from the big blind and Heger snap called with {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. Unfortunately for Heger, Hall had him crushed with {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{J-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Hall's tens held, crippling Heger in the process.

Adam Heger Eliminated in 13th Place ($30,431)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Adam Heger - 13th Place
Adam Heger - 13th Place

Nachman Berlin entered the pot from middle position with a raise to 45,000 only to have Adam Heger move all in for slightly less then 80,000 from the cutoff. Berlin made the call.

Berlin: {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Heger: {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The board of {5-Spades}{K-Clubs}{3-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} would see Heger spike, but be unable to outdraw Berlin as he turned two-pair to claim the pot and move to nearly 1,200,000 while Heger would have to be content with a $30,431 payday for his 13th place.

Meulyzer Doubles Up Messiri

Sherif El Messiri raised all in from the button for 62,000 and was called by Phillip Meulyzer from the big blind. Messiri held {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds} while Meulyzer flipped up {Q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.

The flop brought good news for Meulyzer, coming {Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. The {5-Hearts} on the turn left Messeri with just three outs to the river, but he managed to hit the {a-Diamonds} and double up.

Akkari Too Good?

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Phillip Meulyzer opened the cutoff to 45,000 only to have PokerStars Team Brazil Pro Andre Akkari three-bet the small blind to 110,000.

"You're too good Andre!" stated Meulyzer as he slid his cards at the muck.

The quiet Akkari shook his head left-to-right and said, "No I'm not!" as he mucked his hand and gathered the pot.

Carmody Rivers Straight

Jacob Naquin opened to 46,000 only to have Matthew Carmody move all in from the small blind. Naquin made the call as the cards were placed on their backs.

Naquin: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Carmody: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The flop of {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} kept Carmody in the lead until the {A-Diamonds} landed on the turn. Still needing any ten, eight or five to stay alive, Carmody would see the {5-Hearts} slapped on the river to ensure his double to 1,500,000 as Naquin dived down to 3,450,000 in chips.
