You Can Take that to the Ebanks

Ben Tollerene raised to 65,000 from the cutoff and was called by both Joe Ebanks on the button and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier in the big blind. Action checked to Ebanks on the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{J-Hearts} flop, prompting him to bet 130,000. Both his opponents called and then checked the {7-Clubs} turn.

Ebanks fired again, this time 400,000, and it was enough to get the job done as both Grospellier and Tollerene folded.

Grospellier Growing

Joe Ebanks opened with the button, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier defended his big blind, and the flop fell {8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. Bertrand check-called a 75,000-chip bet, and the turn was the {5-Diamonds}.

Bertrand checked again, and Ebanks bet 225,000. Bertrand called.

The river was the {6-Clubs}, and Bertrand checked a third time. Ebanks fired a third bullet - this one was worth 275,000 - and Bertrand called.

ElkY opened {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for a pair of nines, they were good, and he raked in the pot.

Two Pair for Moorman

Mike Sowers raised to 60,000 on the button and Chris Moorman came along for the ride from the big blind. It was heads up to the {4-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop, which both players checked. The {J-Diamonds} turn saw Moorman bet 85,000, Sowers call behind, and the dealer put out the {K-Clubs} on the river.

Moorman bet 210,000, Sowers called, and Moorman showed {K-Spades}{J-Spades} for two pair. Sowers shook his head as he tossed his hand to the muck.

Flopped Trips

Joseph Ebanks
Joseph Ebanks

Tristan Wade raised from the cutoff to 65,000 and was called by Joe Ebanks in the big blind. When the flop came down {5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, Ebanks check-called a bet of 55,000, which was followed by two checks on the {Q-Hearts} turn. The {10-Spades} river brought about some action when Ebanks checked, Wade bet 65,000, Ebanks check-raised to 300,000, and Wade made the call.

Ebanks revealed {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for trip nines and Wade simply mucked.

Paur Rebuilding

Action folded to Chris Moorman in the cutoff and he bumped it up to 65,000, which Jeremy Menard called from the button. The small blind got out of the way and action was on Taylor Paur in the big blind. He decided to ship his stack, which prompted both his opponents to fold.

It wasn't much, but Paur added 130K to his stack..
