Sowers vs. Wade

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Tristan Wade raised to 105,000 from the cutoff and Mike Sowers made the call from the big blind. It was heads up to the {3-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{K-Clubs} flop, which saw Sowers check-call a bet of 110,000. Both players proceeded to check the {5-Hearts} turn and watched as the {10-Spades} peeled off on the river.

Sowers checked, Wade bet 215,000, and Sowers gave up on the hand.

He's a Captain!

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Tristan Wade opened to 80,000 on the button, Chris Moorman called out of the small blind, and the flop fell {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Moorman checked, Wade continued for 110,000, and Moorman check-raised to 270,000. Wade went deep into the tank, and eventually he re-raised to 530,000. Moorman started to put in a fourth bet, but as soon as he initiated forward motion, Wade mucked his hand.

Moorman showed the {8-Clubs}, then mucked as well.

"He's a captain! He's a captain! He's a captain!" Moorman's British contingency chanted from the rail.

Moorman is up to 4.65 million chips , while Wade dropped to 1.86 million.

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Mike Sowers opened to 100,000 from the cutoff, and Tristan Wade defended his big blind. The flop fell {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts}, and Wade check-called a 125,000-chip bet from Sowers.

Both players checked the {5-Clubs} on the turn, and Wade checked a third time after the {2-Spades} rivered. Sowers slid 300,000 forward, Wade released, and Sowers won the pot.

Chop Suey

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier opened to 105,000 from under the gun, and received calls from both Chris Moorman (button) and Mike Sowers (big blind). The flop came down {2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, Sowers checked, and Grospellier continued for 175,000. Moorman and Sowers both called.

All three players knuckled after the {5-Spades} turned.

The river was the {4-Diamonds}, and the action checked to Moorman who bet 400,000. Only Sowers called. Moorman tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for the wheel, Sowers opened up {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the same hand, and the two chopped ElkY's chips.
