Tristan Wade raised to 85,000 from the cutoff only to have Joe Ebanks three-bet to 220,000 from the big blind. Never one to back down, Wade four-bet to 435,000, which was enough to push Ebanks of the hand.
It has been awhile since our last elimination, but we just had one occur. It began when Jeremy Menard raised to 90,000 from the cutoff only to have Chris Moorman move all in from the big blind. Menard called off his stack and it was what you might expect . . . a race!
Moorman:
Menard:
Menard was at risk and no doubt looking for an ace or king. The flop was no help, and neither was the . Menard had just six outs headed to the river, which ended up being the . Menard's big slick was no good and he was eliminated from the tournament in 8th place.
With Jeremy Menard's elimination, the remaining seven players will combine to a single table over at the ESPN Main Stage, which has affectionately become known as the "Thunder Dome!"
Joe Ebanks opened to 90,000 from under the gun, and the action folded to Ben Tollerene who three-bet to 225,000 on button. Ebanks moved all in after the blinds released, and Tollerene snapped it off!
"Whoa!!!" members of the crowd yelled.
Ebanks:
Tollerene:
Neither player hit a four-flush as the board ran , and the pot was chopped.
Ben Tollerene raised to 90,000 from the hijack and received a call from Joe Ebanks in the big blind. Both players checked every street as the board ran out . Tollerene revealed and his king high was good.
Chris Moorman opened to 90,000 from under the gun, and the action folded to Taylor Paul who shoved for roughly 825,000 in the hijack seat. The action folded back to Moorman who folded as well, and Paul took down the pot.
Action folded to Tristan Wade in the small blind and he raised to 105,000. Chris Moorman tanked for a bit, as he usually does, before three-betting to 255,000. Wade refused to back down and four-bet to 520,000, which inspired Moorman to fold.
