Welcome to PokerNews' coverage of Event #46, the $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em / Six Handed Championship. This is the most expensive six-handed tournament on the World Series of Poker schedule this summer and one can most absolutely feel the excitement and anticipation in the air for this one.

Last year the event had a $25,000 buy-in and emerging as champion was Dan Kelly for $1,315,518. He topped a field of 191 to do so and he will be back in the field today to defend his title.
