Mizrachi Drops

Stud 8

Robert Mizrachi: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} / {x-}
Opponent 1: {x-}{x-} / {3-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{9-Spades} -- FOLDED
Opponent 2: {x-}{x-} / {8-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{A-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} / {x-}

Robert Mizrachi brought in and Number One completed before Number Two and Mizrachi called, then Number One bet out on fourth street. Number Two and Mizrachi called again, but then Number Two bet out on fifth street.

This time, only Mizrachi called and then Number Two led out and Mizrachi called and both sixth and seventh streets before Number two showed down {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Mizrachi mucked his hand.

Mizzi Chops & Sexton Drops

Omaha 8

The action folded around to Sorel Mizzi who raised from the cutoff before George Danzer called from the button, as did the player from the small blind and Mike Sexton from the big blind to go four ways into a flop that read {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}.

The small blind opened and Sexton called, but Mizzi raised, forcing Danzer out of the way before the small blind and Sexton called before they both checked to Mizzi on the turn of the {9-Hearts}. Mizzi bet, and the other two called, then they did the same on the river of the {3-Spades}.

Mizzi's {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{J-Clubs} was good for the high and the small blind's {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} was best for the low, chopping the pot between them and leaving Sexton with no share.

Clements Cleans Up

Omaha 8

The action folded to Pat Pezzin who raised from middle position; an opponent from the cutoff called, as did Scott Clements from the big blind, to go three-handed to the flop of {2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Clements led out and both Pezzin and the cutoff calld, then the same happened on the turn of the {8-Hearts} before all three players checked the river of the {7-Diamonds}.

Clements' {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} was enough to scoop the pot and he's now up to 6,000 in chips while Pezzin is down to 6,500.

Fricke Reduced

Stud 8

Jimmy Fricke: {x-}{x-} / {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} / {x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades} / {x-}

Our field reporter picked up the action on fourth street, where an opponent check-called Fricke's bet before Fricke led out on both fifth and sixth streets. On seventh street, Fricke bet all-in for 375, but the opponent elected to fold his hand.

Fricke is now on 7,000 after that hand.

Baldwin Hacks into Seiborg

Omaha 8

The action folded around to Eric Baldwin who raised from the button, only to have Erik Seidel re-raise from the small blind. Baldwin called and then bet out on the flop of {7-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. Baldwin raised and Seidel called before check-calling Baldwin's bet on the turn of the {Q-Spades}, but then check-folded after the river of the {9-Spades}.

Danzer's in a Daze

Stud 8

George Danzer: {x-}{x-} / {J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} / {x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {5-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{A-Clubs} / {x-}

On third street, an opponent bet into Danzer who called before check-calling Danzer's bet on both fourth and fifth streets. Danzer then led out on sixth street and the opponent called before Danzer check-called the opponent's bet on seventh street.

The opponent showed {A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the scoop and Danzer is now down to 4,000 after that hand.
