Omaha 8

Josh Arieh raised from middle position, and Ben Yu called from the big blind. The flop came {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. Yu bet, and Arieh called. The turn was the {2-Hearts}. Yu bet again, and this time Arieh raised. Yu called.

The river was the {9-Diamonds}. Yu bet a third time, and after considering for a few moments, Arieh decided to make the call. Yu quickly tabled {Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} for a flopped full house, and Arieh mucked.

Yu is up to about 70,000 now, while Arieh slips to 62,000.

"You Robbed Me, Baby?"

Level 13
Michael Binger
Michael Binger

Omaha 8

Scotty Nguyen was a minute or so late coming back from the dinner break, arriving back at his table just in time to see Michael Binger open-raise from the button, forcing a fold from Matt Savage in the small blind. Nguyen's hand had already been folded before he sat down, and so he saw his big blind being shipped over to Binger.

"You robbed me, baby?" said Nguyen with a grin. "Oh, you've been blinding down for an hour," said Dan Heimiller. "There was no dinner break." All laughed as the next hand was dealt.

This time Binger raised again from the cutoff, and Savage called from the button. Nguyen then made it two bets from the small blind, forcing out the BB. Binger and Savage both called, and the flop came {Q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Nguyen bet, and his two opponents both called. All three then checked the {4-Clubs} turn and {K-Diamonds} river.

Nguyen hesitated, watching Savage show {6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Binger {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}. With no low, Binger's jacks gave him the best high as Nguyen mucked.

"Jack-jack," said Nguyen. "You robbed me again, baby!"

Binger has about 41,000 with which to try to perpetrate more thefts going forward. Nguyen has about 27,000, and Savage 18,000.

How Do You Like Them Apples?

Level 12

Omaha 8

Four-way action to a flop of {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Clubs}, Mickey Appleman led out and Scott Clements folded, Dan Heimiller and Josh Arieh both called. On the {3-Spades} turn, Appleman checked, Heimiller bet and Arieh raised, Appleman then check-reraised with both players calling. The river was the {8-Hearts} and Appleman bet, Heimiller called and now Arieh raised, Appleman called all in and Heimiller called once more.

Arieh: {A-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades} for the nut low with a flush.
Heimiller: {A-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for the nut low.
Appleman: {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for a full house.

Appleman scooped the high half of the main pot, Heimiller and Arieh split the low half while the latter also won 3/4 of a small side pot.
