Marc Fluss lost most of his chip stack on the hand above, where he raised after Ylon Schwartz completed. Kai Landry then reraised, and both players came along. All three players checked fourth street, with Schwartz taking the bet lead on fifth. Both players called, then Landry bet out on sixth aafter it was checked to him. Schwartz folded, but Fluss stuck around to the river, where both players checked. Landry flipped up for two pair, and Fluss flipped up for a pair and missed straight draw.
Shortly after that, Fluss was eliminated when his split kings failed to improve against Eugene Katchalov's wired pair of aces.
Bryan Devonshire was crippled in a hand earlier, and rode the short stack for a while until Ylon Schwartz finally busted him. Devo bet out on fourth and fifth streets, and Schwartz just called. Eric Buchman and Shaun Deeb have tangled in a number of pots recently, including one where Deeb called Buchman down with just a pair of eights. Deeb professed that he had a solid read on Buchman, but Buchman insisted he had a good hand.
"What's your name again?" Deeb asked.
"Eric," Buchman responded bluntly.
A few moments passed.
"Hey," Buchman uttered. "What was your name again?"
