Lazarou Crippled by Katchalov, Eliminated in 8th Place ($11,301)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Vasili Lazarou

Katchalov: (x)(x) / {q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} / (x)
Lazarou: (x)(x) / {10-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Spades} / (x)

Eugene Katchalov has run over the table so far, and his latest victim was Vasili Lazarou. Katchalov completed on third street, and Lazarou called. Eugene then check called on fourth street, before betting out on fifth and sixth streets. Lazarou called before Katchalov bet blind on seventh street for the second time at this final table. Lazarou thought for a few seconds before folding, leaving himself with just one bet.

Lazarou: {3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} / {4-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} / {3-Hearts}
Katchalov: {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} / {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} / {k-Clubs}

Lazarou's last bet went in on third street of the next hand, and Katchalov was the only caller, attempting to finish what he had started in the previous hand. Katchalov flipped up two aces, and slowly improved through the hand. First he caught two pair on sixth, then made an unnecessary flush on seventh. Lazarou couldn't beat it, and he was knocked out. Katchalov now has a substantial chip lead, as he is around 505,000 with no one else over 400,000
