We came in when the flop was being dealt and there was already 1,500 in the pot. Brandon Cantu checked, the button player bet 600, another player folded and Cantu called.
The turn came and both players checked. The river was the and Cantu bet out 2,500. His opponent tanked for nearly five minutes before finally calling and Cantu showed him for the flopped nut flush. Cantu moved up to 13,500
While there is plenty of poker being played here in the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-low Split-8 or Better, there is also plenty of tweeting. Eric @basebaldy Baldwin is a pretty active tweeter in his own right and known for making up such excellent trends as #whatsplayinginbethshaksheadphones and now today, #sportspokernames and #rapperpokernames
Baldwin is in the field today sitting with about 8,000 in chips and his side project has gotten quite a bit of reponse. Highlights so far have been, Lebron James Bord, Tristan Wade Boggs, Jennifer Harman Killebrew, Justin Young Jeezy, Amarillo Slim Shady, Brandon Steven Drew Breeze Zuckermann, Norman Chad Ocho Cinco and so many more.
We're keeping an eye on Basebaldy's chip stick AND on his twitter account.
Eric Baldwin limped from middle position and the called a raise to 700 from the player on the button. When the flop came down , Baldwin led out with a bet big enough to put his short-stacked opponent all in. A call was made and the cards were turned up.

Baldwin was in big trouble against the button's top set and flush redraw. The dealer burned and turned the , which changed little. The on the river meant the button scooped the pot, leaving Baldwin with 3,000.
Five-time WSOP bracelet winner Jeffrey Lisandro arrived to take his first hand at the start of Level 5. After nearly an hour he'd lost about half his starting stack of 4,500. Just now he limped from UTG and saw a flop of with the two players in the blinds. It checked to Lisandro who bet the pot, the SB called quickly, and the BB folded. The SB got the rest of his small stack in the middle versus Lisandro following the turn.
Lisandro showed and his opponent . The river was the case jack -- the -- but the four in Lisandro's hand gave him jacks full and the hand. He's still only at about 2,200, however.
Frank Kassela sat down at a new table with about 6,000 and one hand later, he had none.
We came in when he just threw his hand up in the air and was very frustrated as his opponent showed on a board of for the rivered straight. Kassela hit the rail quickly and angrily and is likely off to register for the 5 PM $2,500 Mixed Hold'em
We came on this one after the river had been dealt, with the board showing , Dario Alioto tabling , and his opponent . Alioto was claiming the low half with his ace-deuce, and his opponent the high with the jack-high straight.
The real news here is not the chopped pot, though, but that Alioto is sitting with about 20,000 at present, off to one of the better starts in the room this afternoon.
