A Crazy Three-Way

No Limit Hold'em

Action folded to Aalok Arora in the cutoff who raised to 8,500. Patrick Renkers then re-raised to 20,500 from the button only to have Matt Sterling push all in for 107,000 from the small blind. The big blind got out of the way and Arora went all in over the top for a total of 123,000. Renkers, who had both the other players covered, opted to call and it was a three-way all in.

Renkers: {J-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Sterling: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Arora: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The flop came {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} leaving Renkers in the lead but the {q-Diamonds} hit on the turn giving Arora a pair of queens. The {a-Diamonds} on the river was just icing on the cake for Arora who nearly tripled his stack to 357,000 while Sterling was eliminated in 21st place.
