A Brief History of Our Final Table Players

Our final nine!
Our final nine!

We picked up some interesting facts about our players during the introductions, and we'd like to share some of the highlights with you now.

Karina Jett has already placed fourth in the WSOP Ladies Event back in 2003 and 2004 with a total of nine cashes up until this point. However, this will be the first time that Jett has made a final table of a WSOP event as an expectant mother.

Should there be a delivery required, we've got not one, but two nurses here - Valerie McColligan is registered in Wisconsin and Carol Tomlinson in Florida. And to make sure of a safe delivery, Katherine Stahl will be able to use her skills as a police officer to keep the crowd in order, with help from Jennifer Cowan, who'll be able to muscle them back as well (she's a professional bodybuilder).

Genevieve Gloutnez is a qualified plumber, while Marsha Wolak is a real estate investor who runs an all-female motorcycle club on the side. At least they could all get together at Peg Ledman's billiard club in Memphis after this is all over for a few celebratory drinks.

As for Jonathan Epstein? As the WSOP announcer notes state (verbatim): "He's single and unemployed. No surprise on either count."
