Double Elimination

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Both Dan Alspach and Anibal Andres ended up all in preflop against Max Lykov.

Alspach: {j-}{j-}
Andres: {8-}{9-}
Lykov: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} to give Lykov a six-high straight and send both the other players to the rail.

With those eliminations players have now redrawn for seats at the final three tables and have moved to the purple section of the Amazon room.

Lack of Action

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

The remaining 27 players seem to be tightening up a bit as we inch closer and closer to the final table. No major hands have occurred since we hit three tables. The chip counts for every player were updated right as we began play at the final three tables and with a couple players very short stacked, it's likely we'll see some double-ups or bust-outs shortly!

Big Mac

Douglas MacKinnon raised to 35,000 preflop getting called by Terrance Eischens and [Removed:415] before Jason Vanstrom squeezed all in from the small blind. MacKinnon called all in and Eischens and Doria both folded.

MacKinnon: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Vanstrom: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

The board came {8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{K-Spades} and MacKinnon picked up a lucky (and big) double up to 900,000.

Knupple Busts

William Knuppel was short stacked and got the remainder of his chips in against Harald Olsen.

Knuppel: {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Olsen: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}

The flop put Knuppel into the lead when it came {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} but the {7-Clubs} on the turn put Olsen ahead again. The {7-Diamonds} on the river sealed the deal and Knupple was sent to the rail.

The Sultans of Downswing

Ludovic Sultan moved all in for his last 240,000 preflop with {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and Matthew Leecy made the call with {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} before Nahabedian Raffi moved all in for 500,000 holding {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} and Leecy again called.

No-one saw any help on the {5-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop or the {7-Clubs} turn but the {A-Hearts} on the river sent a huge pot to Leecy and put him into the chip lead as the other two players were eliminated.

Buckholtz Busto

Mickael Morgousky and Ryan Buckholtz, who had similarly sized stacks, got all the chips in the middle preflop with Morgousky's {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} leading Buckholtz's {q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. The board ran out {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{9-Spades} and after all the chips were counted out, Morgousky was the one to double up while Buckholtz was left with a mere 5,000 in chips.

After paying the 2,000 ante, Buckholtz got his remaining 3,000 chips in on the button on the next hand holding {j-}{9-} and ran into another player's {a-}{a-} and Buckholtz was eliminated.
