Arieh Can't Stand Kenney's Pressure

Level 3

No-Limit Hold'em

Bryn Kenney raised to 1,500 under the gun and was called by Josh Arieh (hijack), Michael Mizrachi (button), and Roman Yitzhaki (big blind).

The flop fell {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Kenney's contination bet of 3,800 was only called by Arieh. The {2-Diamonds} hit the turn and Kenny bet 8,800. Arieh called again to see the {K-Diamonds} hit the river. Kenney fired 19,600, too rich for Arieh to call.

Kenny upped his stack to about 155,000, while Arieh slipped to roughly 145,000.

Rivet Folds to O'Brien's Shove

Dan O'Brien
Dan O'Brien

No-Limit Hold'em

Dan O’Brien raised to 1,200 under the gun and received calls from Guillaume Rivet in the hijack as well as the player in the cutoff. On the {K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop, O’Brien led out for 2,100 and was met with a raise to 6,300 from Rivet. The cutoff got out of the way and O’Brien pulled back his chips before he three-bet to 16,800. Rivet pulled back his chips too and then four-bet to 35,600. O’Brien went into the tank and rechecked his cards several times. He also asked Rivet how many 25,000 chips he had and if he could chop down his stack of 5,000 chips. After several minutes, O’Brien finally moved all in and Rivet didn’t take much time before he folded.

Shchemelev Hits 200K

Level 3

Pot-Limit Omaha

Michael Mizrachi called under the gun and Roman Yitzhaki did the same from middle position. Bryn Kenney raised to 2,000 from the cutoff and was called by Vladimir Shchemelev (button), Josh Arieh (small blind), and the two limpers.

The flop fell {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and action checked to Shchemelev. He bet 10,000 and was called by only Arieh. The {8-Hearts} hit the turn and Arieh checked again. Shchemelev fired 30,000, once again getting called by Arieh. The {9-Hearts} river put a third heart on the board and slowed each down with a check.

Arieh tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{X-}{X-}, while Shchemelev showed {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} for the better set to win the pot.

Shchemelev is up to 200,000, while Arieh drops to about 102,000.

Brown Shows Nines

Pot-Limit Hold'em

On the board of {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, Erick Lindgren checked to Andrew Brown with the pot at 10,700. Brown firted the size of the pot and Lindgren called.

The river completed the board with the {J-Diamonds} and Lindgren checked. Brown fired 22,000 and Lindgren thought for a bit. "You know, they should really put a cap on this PLO," joked LIndgren. Eventually he folded and Brown won the pot.

As Brown was raking the chips, he showed the {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} from his hand.

David Benyamine: (X)(X) / {a-}{10-}{k-} FOLDED
Jared Bleznick: (X)(X) / {a-}{4-}{7-}{j-} / (X)
John Racener (X)(X) / {5-}{q-}{6-}{8-} / (X)

Jean-Robert Bellande brought it in with the {j-Diamonds}, Benyamine completed, Bleznick called, and Racener raised. Bellande folded, and both Benyamine and Bleznick called.

Bleznick led on fourth street, both Benyamine and Racener called, and Bleznick led again on fifth. Only Racener called. Bleznick led one last time on sixth, Racener called, and both players checked on seventh.

Racener opened {a-Clubs}{2-Spades}{5-Spades} for an eight-six, Bleznick mucked, and Racener won the pot.

All in and a Call!

Level 3

Pot-Limit Omaha

We caught up with the action on the turn of a {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} board where Alexander Dovzhenko bet the pot for 28,700. John Monnette raised all in and Dovzhenko quickly called as the players turned up their cards.

Dovzhenko: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Monnette: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Both players held the current nuts with a full house, tens full of nines. However since each held an overpair, Dovzhenko could win the hand with an ace on the river while Monnette could do the same with a king. The river was the {6-Diamonds} though and the players chopped it up.

Monnette had around 155,000 after the hand while Dovzhenko was sitting with about 140,000.

Clemencon Climbing

Pot-Limit Omaha

When we reached Table 358, the board had already been dealt {j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, and there was roughly 60,000 in the middle. Daniel Alaei checked in the small blind, and Tristan Clemencon bet 28,700. Alaei called.

Clemencon opened up {q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{j-Spades} for a flopped full house, Alaei mucked, and Clemencon is now well above 200,000 chips.
