Slowroll?

Omaha-8

Minh Ly was on the button and raised. ben Lamb called from the small blind and Scott Seiver called from the big blind. The flop came down {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and action checked around. On the turn, the {3-Spades} landed and Lamb checked. Seiver bet, Ly called and Lamb called. On the river, the {3-Hearts} paired the board and everyone checked.

"Jack," said Lamb.

"Jack what?" questioned Ly.

"Ace-jack," responded Lamb.

After Lamb responded, Ly tabled {A-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for straight, which the table got quite the amusement out of the possibility of the slowroll. Ly won the pot as Lamb and Seiver mucked.

Life for Lamb

Level 21

Omaha-8

Minh Ly raised from the hijack seat, then a short-stacked Ben Lamb reraised from the cutoff. It folded back around and Ly called.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades}. Ly checked, Lamb bet, and Ly called. The turn was the {6-Spades}, and Ly checked again. Lamb bet the last 13,000 he had, and Ly called.

Ly: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Lamb: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}

Lamb was all in and at risk, but the river brought the {5-Spades}, giving him both the nut flush and the nut low.

"No more slowrolls," said Lamb afterwards, alluding to his earlier hand with Ly. Lamb is still alive with about 550,000, while Ly has about 3.5 million.
