We caught up with the action heads up on the 
flop where the small blind check-called a 1,400 bet from Shane Schleger in middle position. On the 
turn, the small blind again check-called, this time for 2,000. Both players checked the 
on the end and the small blind turned over 
for a missed inside-straight draw and just king high. Schleger revealed 
for top pair which was good to take down the pot.

Scotty Nguyen raised to 1,700 and declared to the players behind him, "Just seventeen baby!" All but one folded, the big blind reluctant to part with his own chips and decided to tangle with the former Main Event winner.

We caught up with the action on a 
flop, where Jeff Sarwer led out for 1,825. His lone opponent in the small blind raised to 4,625 and Sarwer re-raised all-in so quickly he almost beat his opponent into the pot. His opponent tanked and began putting Sarwer on a range of hands.
"Flush draw....ace-king, ace-queen?" he said.
"Probably worse than that, but you can't call," Sarwer replied.
...Sarwer's opponent called off his remaining stack anyways and saw that he was in terrible shape.

Zheng Tang limped in from under the gun plus one before Paul Pierce min-raised to 1,200 from the very next seat. Action folded to Jonathan Zarin in the hijack seat and he reraised to 2,625. Play then moved to Aaron Donovan in the big blind and he cold-called with a little less than 8,500 behind. Tang made the call and then Pierce also called to bring all four players to the flop.
