Hand #27: Ben Lamb

Level 37 : 300,000/600,000, 75,000 ante

Ben Lamb had the button, and he opened to 1.35 million. It's only the second time today he's put money into the pot voluntarily, and this one earned him the blinds and antes.

Hand #29: Pius Heinz

Level 37 : 300,000/600,000, 75,000 ante

Matt Giannetti had the button. Under the gun, Phil Collins opened to 1.3 million, and Pius Heinz three-bet to 2.9 million total. The table folded back around to Phildo, and he gave it about 30 seconds of consideration before surrendering.

Hand #31: Ben Lamb

Level 37 : 300,000/600,000, 75,000 ante

Eoghan O'Dea had the button. Ben Lamb was the first one to enter the pot, and his raise to 1.35 million folded the table around to the big blind. There, Anton Makiievskyi spent an unusually long time considering his decision, sitting with only 14.4 million chips in front of him. It was at least a minute or more before he finally surrendered his cards.

Perhaps there's a gear change in progress for the Player of the Year, as he's now starting to get involved in a few pots.

Hand #32: Martin Staszko

Level 37 : 300,000/600,000, 75,000 ante

The button was on Phil Collins.

Martin Staszko raised to 1.3 million. Eoghan O'Dea called from the cutoff seat and everyone else folded. The flop came down {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Staszko checked. O'Dea bet 1.6 million and Staszko called.

The turn was the {4-Spades} and Staszko checked. O'Dea checked behind.

The river was the {9-Diamonds} and Staszko bet 2.8 million. O'Dea folded and Staszko won the pot.

Hand #34: Phildo

Level 37 : 300,000/600,000, 75,000 ante

The button was with Sam Holden to start the hand.

Eoghan O'Dea raised to 1.3 million from middle position and Phil Collins three-bet to 2.9 million from the next seat in the hijack. O'Dea gave it some thought and then folded.
