Turker Turning It On

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Sadan Turker raised it from the button, making it 200,000 to go before the flop. Sean Getzwiller made the call and the flop fell {2-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}. Both players checked it and the dealer dropped the {5-Hearts} on the turn. Getzwiller again checked to Turker, who fired a bet of 200,000 into the middle.

A call by Getzwiller brought the {J-Clubs} and the river and both players checked it down. Turker tabled the {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for middle pair and dragged the chips in his direction.

Getzwiller Snatches Lead

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Sean Getzwiller entered the pot from the button with a raise to 165,000 and was called by Sadan Turker from the big blind.

The flop fell {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Turker led out for 175,000 only to have Getzwiller bump it to 350,000. Turker went deep into the tank before pushing out a stack of chips amounting to 775,000.

Getzwiller attempted to exchange some friendly banter, but it was to no avail. Then after two minutes of summing up his options, Getzwiller reached for several stacks of chips which looked to amount to roughly 1,420,000. But before he could push them into the pot, Turker released his hand and slipped to roughly 5,535,000 in chips as Getzwiller climbs to 7,000,000 in chips.

Getzwiller Floats, Then Hits River

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Getzwiller raised from the button to 165,000 and Turker came along. The flop fell {Q-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Turker checked, prompting a bet of 100,000 by Getzwiller. Turker decided to see another card and made the call, bringing the {5-Hearts} on the turn. Both players checked and the {K-Spades} fell on the river.

After Turker checked for a third time, Getzwiller fired 300,000 into the middle and Turker looked him up. Getzwiller tabled the {A-}{K-} for a rivered top pair and took the pot down.

After the turn came {2-Hearts}, both players again tapped the table. The river came {9-Hearts} and after two more checks, Turker showed his {A-Spades}{3-Hearts} for ace-high, which was good enough to take the first heads-up of of the final table.

Sean Getzwiller and Sadan Turker Heads Up

When both Sean Getzwiller and Sadan Turker went heads-up, they asked the Tournament Director if they could have a short break so that they could step outside and chat.

The Tournament Director didn't allow it, and when they started talking at the table, the Tournament Director told them that that wasn't allowed.

Consequently after roughly ten hands of heads-up play, both Getzwiller and Turker decided to just get up and leave so that they could have their chat.

The dealer looked a little dumb-founded, but as the players vacated the Thunder-Dome, the clock continues to run down.
