Jones Jumps Brongo's Jacks

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

After a large raise by Andrew Brongo, David Jones slid a stack of orange and green chips into the pot, enough to put Brongo all in. After thinking for only a few seconds, Brongo made the call and showed down his {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, but saw the bad news when Jones flipped up {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}.

Flop: {8-Hearts}{K-Spades}{7-Clubs}

Jones' top set took a commanding lead and Brongo was left calling for a nine or a ten in hopes of picking up a miracle gutshot straight draw. The dealer ended the drama by turning the {Q-Hearts}, however, and Brongo was drawing dead. The meaningless {2-Hearts} on the river made it official and Brongo was sent packing. Jones chipped up to about 250,000 after the pot was shipped his way.

Breyfogle Hunt-ed by Frey

Todd Breyfogle upped the ante to 22,000 only to find some heat from the player directly on his left, Hunter Frey.

Frey pulled the trigger, and when the action returned to Breyfogle, he called all in for roughly 225,000.

Breyfogle: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Frey: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

With another classic race for survival, Breyfogle would be Hunt-ed down by Frey as the board was spread {8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} to see Breyfogle exit as Frey soars to 1,040,000.

Cohen Culled

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Samantha Cohen moved all in and Daniel Haglund iso-shoved from the next seat over.

Cohen: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Haglund: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

Unfortunately for Cohen, the dealer spread a {2-Spades}{A-Clubs}{8-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs} board to see her fall to the rail as Haglund moves to 1,180,000 in chips.

Gordon Makes the Hero Call to Double Through Driscoll

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

We caught the action with the board reading {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and a short-stacked John Gordon facing an all-in bet by Jonathan Driscoll. Gordon went deep into the tank and began talking to Drsicoll, trying to draw a bead on what his opponent held.

After stating assertively "see, I don't think you want a call," Gordon decided to risk his tournament life with his {7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, which was good for middle pair and a flush draw.

Driscoll showed down his {A-Hearts}{10-Spades} and optimistically said "I've got a ton of outs," as the dealer prepared to burn and turn. He needed to spike an ace, a ten or any heart to win the pot.

River: {K-Clubs}

Gordon's incredible call panned out and he doubled through Driscoll. Complete chip counts for this table are coming shortly.

Marquez Eliminated

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

One of the last remaining females in the tournament - Ana Marquez - has just been felted.

Following limps from Stuart Krasney and Kim Frederiksen from the cutoff and button respectively, Ana Marquez moved all in for 24,000. Krasney and Frederiksen both made the call before Krasney moved all in on the {Q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop as Frederiksen folded.

Krasney: {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Marquez: {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

With Marquez in the lead, the {K-Spades} on the turn gifted Krasney the lead as the {9-Clubs} on the river would see him improve to a straight and send Marquez to the rail in 32nd place.
