Lewis Check-Raises Hennigan On River

Level 4 : 300/600, 100 ante

From under the gun, John Hennigan raised to 1,500. Juston Bonomo called from the cutoff seat and Toby Lewis called from the big blind. The three players took the {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop and action checked around.

Play also checked around on the {8-Hearts} turn that paired the board before the dealer placed the {Q-Hearts} on the river. Lewis checked and Hennigan bet 3,300. Bonomo folded and Lewis took some time. After a minute or so, Lewis check-raised to 9,500. Hennigan quickly folded and Lewis won the pot.

Kabrhel Busts Sands

David "Doc" Sands had raised from early position and Martin Kabrhel called from the hijack seat. Isaac Haxton called from the big blind and the flop came down {K-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Haxton checked and Sands bet 2,400. Kabrhel called and Haxton folded.

On the {7-Clubs} turn, Sands checked and Kabrhel bet 5,500. Sands check-raised all in for 33,400. Kabrhel tanked long and hard before finally making the call. He held the {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for top pair while Sands was all in and at risk with the {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a pair of sevens and a combo straight-plus-flush draw.

The river completed the board with the {8-Clubs} and Sands had missed. "Good luck, guys," he wished the table as he grabbed his belongings and headed for the rail. Kabrhel stacked up to 120,000 in chips.
