We found Maria Ho in the big blind heads up with an unknown player under the gun. The flop was {K-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} , Ho checked and the unknown player bet 2,000. Ho check-raised to 8,000 and her opponent three-bet jammed. Ho called, tabling {K-Hearts} {7-Spades} , and saw she was behind her opponent's {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds} .

The turn was a blank with the {4-Spades} but Ho hit her money card on the river when it fell {7-Hearts} . "I'm sorry," Ho said to the distraught player.
