Athanasios Polychronopoulos is in the field today. He won a bracelet last year in another large field (2,713) in a $1,500 event. We like covering him, but not his name. We kindly refer to him as "Mr. Ctrl V".
Each time we go on the floor we come across players who have recently taken their seat.
Mclean Karr was just eliminated from the tournament. He came by our desk to ask about other events running today.
We asked what happened and he replied, "The donkeys got me."

Apparently Aaron Massey has been eliminated from the tournament by a ruling he didn't agree with. He's currently pleading his case with WSOP TD Jack Effel. From our vantage point we're not sure how it's being resolved.
