Farzad Bonyadi Eliminated in 4th Place ($40,987)

After tripling, Farzad Bonyadi lost most of his stack again, dipping down to 16,000 chips. He then quadrupled up, and was all in again the very next hand.

Bonyadi raised out of the small blind, and his neighbor David Baker called from the big. Bonyadi drew two, Baker one, and Bonyadi bet out. Baker called.

On the second draw, Bonyadi drew one, Baker stood pat, and Bonyadi check-called all in for exactly one bet. Both player stood pat.

Baker fanned {8-} {5-} {4-} {3-} {2-} , and Bonyadi flashed an eighty-six before mucking. Bonyadi is our fourth-place finisher, and will take home $40,987.

Bonyadi Triples

After losing a pot to Randy Ohel, Farzad Bonyadi three-bet all in over a raised from Benjamin Lazer. David Baker cold-called from the big blind, and Lazer called on the button. On the first draw, Bonyadi drew two, Baker one, and Lazer two. Both players checked.

On the second draw, Bonyadi and Lazer drew two, and Baker drew one. Baker check-called a bet from Lazer.

On the third draw, everybody stood pat except for Baker. Baker and Lazer checked. Lazer tabled {9-} {8-} {7-} {4-} {3-} which was good for the side pot, but Bonyadi's {9-} {7-} {6-} {5-} {2-} won the main pot, tripling him to 95,000 chips.

Benjamin Lazer was catching Randy Ohel, but he lost two pots on the bounce to drop back.

First up he lost a bit pot to Ohel. The pot was three-bet by Ohel on each of the two rounds before he showed down {7-} {6-} {4-} {3-} {2-} for a number two. Lazer stared at his hand for a while before mucking.

The very next hand he lost a pot to Farzad Bonyadi. Lazer drew two, two, and one but missed and check-folded on the last betting round.
